I want to tell you a little bit about my journey with CBD. I was diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease in 1988 but didn’t really address it or take care of myself until a few years ago. BIG mistake!
Because my initial diagnosis was traumatizing at best I became fearful and avoided seeing the dr for any follow-up care unless it was absolutely necessary. I spent a lot of my time planning my days around knowing where the nearest bathroom was and found my life shrinking to fit these “bathroom maps” I relied on.
Often I was exhausted and had other complications such as joint and muscle pain to contend with on a daily basis. I was raised to believe that if nothing was broken or bleeding I was ok enough to work or fulfill any of my other daily duties like caring for my family and home. My mantra was “it’s a long way from my heart”.
Fast forward to 2015 and I found myself seriously overweight, depressed, hating my job and in the middle of a long flare. By Summer 2016 I had quit my job which eased some of the depression and anxiety which resulted in my Chron’s flare settling down some, but not really abating.
I was able to find a new job (one I still work at) in Dec of 2016. Though this job is probably the best I’ve had working for someone else, it is not completely without stressors. I have found that stress, anxiety, and depression can really ramp up my Chron’s activity and have been working with my GI Dr for the last 3yrs to find a way to manage my Chron’s symptoms and hopefully find remission.
I’ve been through a series of medications that have not worked and have actually caused greater problems with all of the varying side effects. I finally gave up and got off all the medication and tried to manage my symptoms with supplements, vitamins, and other alternative therapies.
Sometimes I experienced relief, but not for long and have recently completed a colonoscopy, only to find out that the inflammation in my colon has worsened and spread to my small intestine.
Just before the colonoscopy, my Dr suggested I change my diet, drastically and I did. I also started using CBD sublingual tinctures and taking a short term use steroid to reduce my severe inflammation. All three of these changes have resulted in a reduction of symptoms.
This is where I get to tell you about my CBD experience. I had tried gummies a few years ago, made by a friend of mine, but I was skeptical and needed a Medical Marijuana card to continue getting and using them so I chose not to at the time. Now CBD products are available just about everywhere (including convenience stores). I’ve tried several brands from several companies with some positive results. But, because I want to use the best products available I hit the internet and learned all I could.
This process of wading through all kinds of information and hype lead me to Joy Organics and their CBD products. I am currently using their sublingual tincture to help manage my body pain and other symptoms.
One of my biggest considerations in choosing Joy Organics was the quality and lack of any THC in their products. Not all CBD products can claim that!
I’m having the best results with this product and have decided to become one of their affiliates! If you want to experience CBD products of the finest quality click the banner at the top or bottom of this post and place your order.
Their prices are great, order processing and shipping is fast, and I know you will be satisfied with their products.
